Terry Lee Hale @ Candelabro

Ninety minutes of "sad" songs with a "happy melody" and "happy-sad songs" was what Terry Lee Hale in a "corner bar" called Café Candelabro in Porto. Songwriting is often at its best when it is about personal storytelling, as was often the case here. Songs such as Black Cloud or Black Forest Phone Call guided us beautiful and poignantly through the singer-songwrite's life. Guitar and voice was all it took Hale to render an intimate, superb concert.

Sunday Songs

A corny video, a happy breezy song. Perfect for a hot summer Sunday.

New Songs

We’re not the only ones breaking the cocoon after a long absence. Sebadoh’s first album in 14 years, Defend Yourself will be released in September 17.  I Will is the first single and along with State of Mind, another of the songs of Defend Yourself, promises a great comeback.

Return

Time to (slowly) get back to life. This page is aimed at being a memory and archive for Mondo Bizarre Magazine but also for us to share the things we like and appreciate. Hopefully new features will also come along. This a second life for Mondo Bizarre Magazine and we're still testing the waters, to see where the journey will lead us.
